Hi, friends! Today I’m excited to share with you another fall look that is inspired by one of my favorite Instagram girls–Natalie Borton! This brown quilted jacket is a new favorite of mine that I can’t wait to style more this season.
Natalie is such a fun Southern California girl (and momma!) to follow. She shares daily outfit inspiration (that she actually wears) and makes some of the most beautiful simple everyday jewelry. Her style is classic and minimalist but still modern, and one that I take inspiration from on a daily basis!
She wore this quilted brown jacket with a navy gingham button-up earlier this fall and I loved it so much, I had to recreate it here for you all.
It probably comes as no surprise that this rich sienna brown color has been a favorite of mine this fall. And while the color of this jacket is one of the reasons I love it so much, it was the quilted detailing that ultimately convinced me to purchase it! I LOVE adding different textures into my outfits, and this quilted material is a fun new variation to try!
The jacket material itself is lighter weight than a sweater cardigan, but definitely substantial enough for cooler days and evenings in Colorado in the fall. I paired it here with a classic gingham button-up and dark skinny jeans for a look that is casual and comfortable, but also feels very put-together.
I also recently invested in these gorgeous sueded brown wedge boots that are waterproof ! I’m frequently caught in unexpected afternoon rain storms, but with these boots, I don’t have to worry about ruining a great pair of boots AND I don’t have to sacrifice style (because let’s be honest, rubber rain boots aren’t the cutest). And the wedge style means I get a little extra help on the height front, while still remaining super comfortable to wear all day long. Plus, they are fur-lined meaning I can wear them right into the colder months of winter. They’ve been a great addition to my shoe collection, and one which I can’t wait to style more of this season!
