If you’ve been following me for long, you know that I live for a good floral print, and I’m especially a sucker for J.Crew x Liberty Floral patterns. You might remember this all floral number from last summer that is still my favorite print EVER! Needless to say, when new Liberty floral prints dropped a few weeks ago, I couldn’t resist adding this new ‘magical bouquet’ print in the prettiest bright yellow and pink to my collection.
The yellow and pink floral print is as dreamy in person as it is online. I just love how bright and cheery it is–the flowers seem to pop right out of the print. And the cotton material is the perfect lightweight weight for spring and summer–breathable without being too see-through. It would be gorgeous paired with dark wash jeans during the week. But with warmer weather here already, I decided to pair it with shorts for a more put-together version of my go-to weekend look.
I paired it here with these adorable blush pink bow shorts that J.Crew brought back for a second time this year. You may remember I styled the chambray version for the 4th of July last year in this post. I love that this pale pink is subtle enough without being overly feminine or flashy. Just a splash of pink and a playful bow detail to make any outfit feel a little more girly and fun! And I love how the high-rise waist hits in the most flattering (smallest) part of your body to make you feel extra slim, even after a big brunch. 😉
A springy outfit that is both colorful and feminine and perfect for any weekend outing you have!
