What I’m Thankful For…

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

I thought I’d check in and wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully you are enjoying a nice day spent gathered with family and friends. I’ll be perched here on the couch watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and enjoying the herby smells emanating from of the kitchen until everyone arrives later this afternoon. Is there anything better than the smell of freshly blended veggies and herbs for the stuffing? I’m most looking forward to seeing all my family and devouring my grandma’s famous homemade noodles. They are seriously THE best.

Since today is meant for relaxation and time spent giving thanks for all the wonderful things we have in our lives, I thought I’d share a few of the things I’m thankful for this year.

  1. Loving family and friends who support me in all my endeavors.
  2. The opportunity to continue my education. (I’m currently working towards a PhD in Aerospace Engineering Sciences at CU Boulder.)
  3. A healthy body and mind anxious to live life to the fullest.
  4. Living in a beautiful, adventurous place that allows me to explore to my heart’s desire. (I just moved to Boulder, CO in August and LOVE. IT.)
  5. YOU! Whether you’ve been visiting my site since I started or are just visiting for the day, thank you for listening to what I have to say in this little space of the internet I call my own. Thank you for letting me be creative and for allowing me to share these little moments of my life with you. (I love your comments by the way–keep ’em coming!) It’s truly been an adventure starting this blog and I couldn’t be more excited for all the opportunities it’s brought and continues to bring me.

Happy Thanksgiving from yours truly! I hope you have a fantastic day with the ones you love.

xo, Kristin
