This week didn’t offer anything particularly noteworthy or novel, but sometimes those are the best times to remember to stop and smell the roses (quite, literally). Allen and I worked as usual Monday through Thursday and then took off on Friday to ski at Vail. It was my first time skiing there, and as you can see from my excitement here, it definitely won’t be our last. Other than skiing yesterday, this weekend I’ll be taking things easy and starting some projects I have due later next week. There’s never too long of a break as a grad student. š At any rate, here are a few of the littleĀ things that brightened my week!

— Galaxy leggings…because any other kind just aren’t as good! —
— The deepest powder I’ve ever skied in. —
