LIFE SERIES The Little Things

The Little Things

Happy Friday, friends! My heart is so full from a weekend well-spent with family in Colorado. As I mentioned in my last post, my parents, Allen and I are headed on a week-long backpacking trip through Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park in one week. In preparation for this, we went on a 10 mile hike in Rocky Mountain National Park with everyone was together. And while I was initially nervous about being fit enough for the endeavor, it turned out to be one of my favorite hikes to-date. I can’t wait to share more about it with you in the coming weeks! After exploring Colorado over the weekend, my parents flew back to Houston with me to do some adventuring there. Even though I had to go into work while they were visiting, we had the opportunity to go to an Astros vs. Yankees game together in the city on evening! It was seriously so much fun, and I’m so glad I got to spend some extra, *bonus* time with them!

This weekend I’m looking forward to having Allen with me in Houston and crossing off the last few items  on my summer bucket list before leaving next weekend. Can you believe it’s my last weekend in Houston?! Oh how time flies! At any rate, here are a few of the little things that brightened my week! I hope you have a great weekend!
