LIFE SERIES The Little Things

The Little Things

With my first test of the semester out of the way, I’m excited to take a little breather this weekend to unwind. I had a blast (<– pun intended) volunteering at a local elementary school to teach kids about rockets on Friday and I’m looking forward to finding even more opportunities to share my love of space with others in the community in the future. It is a honest-to-goodness passion of mine that I had been missing since moving here in August. As for our plans this weekend, Allen and I planned an impromptu trip to go see the Alaska Aces play this weekend in Loveland. Allen is beside himself with excitement (he was born and raised in Anchorage, AK). But besides that, we will just be taking it easy and getting a head start on next week’s work. Have anything big planned for the weekend yourself? If not, I hope you have the chance to relax and enjoy the amazing weather we’ve been having. It seriously feels like summertime outside, doesn’t it?! Here are a few of the little things that brightened my week!

Yay! Me too! I love working with kids, especially when it’s teaching them science. Launching rockets was so much fun! I’ll put a little recap up soon.
